Sift together flour, baking powder, & salt. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender. Make well in centre; turn milk in all at once; stir lightly with knife. Turn on floured board; gather batter into a ball. Knead gently for 20 counts. Roll dough about 1/2" thick. Cut out with floured cutter. Place biscuits touching one another on an oiled cookie sheet.
Bake in 450 F. degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yield: 12 biscuits.
Note: I often add raisins to the mixture for a variation.
